PROJECT

mannebüro züri
Brand Identity

Mannebüro Züri is a counselling and information centre supporting men with issues including conflict, relationships, fatherhood and violence prevention. The project was developed at the Zurich School of Design (SfGZ) as part of my graphic design apprenticeship, with Mannebüro Züri as a practice partner. The brief was to rethink its visual identity and create a clearer, more accessible brand experience, with a particular focus on the website.

CONCEPT

The concept is rooted in the counselling process itself. Men often approach Mannebüro Züri in situations shaped by conflict, uncertainty or shame, so the identity needed to feel direct and professional without becoming confrontational. The central idea presents counselling as a first concrete step: a space where difficult subjects can be addressed openly and change can begin through conversation.

IDENTITY

At the heart of the identity is the double N, representing two sides meeting: different perspectives, conflict, or the dialogue between client and counsellor. The symbol develops into a flexible pattern and is combined with a clear typographic system, a distinctive colour palette, photography and illustration. Together, these elements create an accessible and consistent identity across the website, editorial design, stationery, campaign material and other applications.
