Motion Design
The Zurich School of Design (SfGZ) commissioned a visual concept for the 2026 graphic design graduation projects. The outcome included a kinetic animation for the grafikzüri website, a second version for the graduation ceremony and a matching event flyer. The project was developed within a three-person team with Paulina Süsstrunk and Kira Riccius.

CONCEPT
The visual language is deliberately reduced to typography and motion. To distinguish the 2026 edition from previous years, the animation avoids imagery entirely and turns “GRAFIKER*IN EFZ 2026” into both message and visual material. Repetition, scale, rhythm and shifting compositions transform the type into an evolving kinetic system.
EXECUTION
Two versions of the animation were created for different contexts: a silent version designed for the website and a rhythmic version with percussion for the graduation ceremony. The same typographic principle was translated into the printed invitation, creating a consistent visual link between digital and physical communication. The flyer announces the EFZ graduation ceremony and exhibition on 9 July 2026 at the Zurich School of Design.
